As can be seen from the figures, UEFA's total club revenues have been growing steadily in recent years, with the exception of the 2020/21 season, which was hit by significant restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the 2021/22 season, sales increased again slightly and reached 18,099 million euros. It remains to be seen how club finances will develop in the coming years, but it is certain that European football is becoming increasingly competitive and club finances will play an important role.
