Palace is an English football club founded in 1905 in the building of the same name. The club is also referred to as Crystal Palace Football Club, with Crystal Palace standing for "Crystal Palace". Until 1973 the club was known as The Glaziers(Die Glaser). The team wears the club's blue and red colors and plays at Selhurst Park, which is located in the southern borough of South Norwood.


After the first first division promotion in 1969, the club was able to establish itself permanently in the top two English leagues from 1977. Crystal Palace have been back in the Premier League since the 2013/14 season after an eight-year hiatus. The greatest successes in the club's history were the finals in the FA Cup in 1990 and 2016 and third place in the 1990/91 season in the first English division.
