Revenues and annual result Borussia Dortmund 2007/08 to 2021/22

The list below shows the finances of Borussia Dortmund over a period of 15 years. The numbers represent the company's revenue and annual results for each season from 2007/08 to the 2021/22 season.

As the numbers indicate, Borussia Dortmund has experienced significant fluctuations in its revenue and annual results in recent years. In the 2017/18 season, BVB recorded its historically highest revenue of 494.97 million euros, which can also be attributed to the sales of Ousmane Dembélé for 140 million euros to FC Barcelona and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for 63.75 million euros to FC Arsenal London.

Borussia Dortmund's finances have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years. The interruption of game activities, canceled games, and limited spectator attendance in stadiums have significantly affected Borussia Dortmund's revenues from ticket sales, sponsorship, and advertising, resulting in massive losses in the seasons from 2019/20 to 2021/22.
